Yeah, merely pretty good USED to mean not worthy of Best Picture. Something has drastically changed in Hollywood. Merely good movies have always been nominated for Best Picture. Nothing has changed in that regard. Airport (1970) is not a great movie by any stretch of the imagination. Black Panther won, Airport didn't. |
