they are supposed to be making it fair, but the NBA has the least parity of all sport Actually, they do have parity. Yeah, the two top teams do exist, and there are one or two horrendous teams; but outside of them, the 26 other teams really are competitive against each other. I have seen the Nets do a number on the Spurs. I have seen the Knicks beat the Celtics. Atlanta v Wizards is a great game. The NBA does have great competition throughout the league. And there is nothing wrong with having top dogs (Warriors/Cavs) in the league. Creates great interest for casual fans, creates great drive to get better for other teams. Look at Celtics this year. They finished ahead of the mighty Cavs. Smart GM moves is all it took.
