lol dogs eed a lot of love. we're all to usy to properly care for a dog. =/ between four people and a fenced-in run in the backyard for them a dog will get plenty of love and care. I've been around dogs almost everyday of my live, starting about two days after I was born. they mature quickly and they adapt to the situations in the home. Shirley you're not a speciest, are you? I have had cats much of my life. They are amazing , adorable. There is no more stink involved than dogs. When we had a dog, the back yard always reeked because my husband was lazy about picking up the dog poo. How is that different from scooping out a catbox regularly? Cat purring vibrates at a frequency that promotes healing. Dogs don't purr. I saw an article with one mental health expert who said he used cats to teach empathy to his patients because dogs will take abuse more than cats. Mistreat a cat & they're out of there. Or you get sliced with one of their murder mitts.
