I can decipher them. But I don't regard either as properly formed cursive.
Okay. What is properly formed cursive by your standards?
To me it's what you'd see in the cursive books and worksheet that would be taught in school (in the ones that teach writing it). I don't see why cursive should vary much more between writers than print does.
