I still disagree. I think the issue with the second movie is it is just very badly written. The mini-series does it almost the same way and does it much more effectively. I am positive that the sequel could have been equally as good as Part 1, without having to change stuff about Part 1. I think mixing the 2 in the first movie would have hurt the first movie more than help the second movie. I obviously am just speculating though. Its badly written because it’s not properly oitlined. If it’s badly written that means it’s poorly explained. It’s certainly not just a dialogue problem because the interactions aren’t bad. Again I don’t think they could figure out how to intersperse them but it would have been more fluid imo. Of course it isn't just a dialogue problem, it is that the story in the second movie is dumb. The second half of the mini-series is better because it isn't convoluted nonsense. The problem with the second half of the mini-series is that it also isn't very interesting. I am convinced that mixing the adult stuff with Part 1 would have made no difference to the second movie being good. Maybe it would have worked out better the way you would have liked the movies to have been written. We'll probably never know.
