The couple told guests they could social distance at their discretion, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

I believe that church is the one in Dirty Harry where the priest is on the church steps and the perp shoots at him.
I've been there. It is beautiful. I went to Confession there once.
After I saw the movie I never dawdled on the steps.
BTW this same phenomenon is happening with funerals. It would be hard not to say goodbye to a loved one. Nor have your wedding without a celebration.
But these are different times. We have to distance
