No offense but infection rate means nothing as it's the death percentage is what ultimately matters. when we claim 1-2% TOPS (I heard one person say "0.04% death rate for those under the age of 70" earlier this month) we are referring to death rate, NOT infection rate because it's obvious the infection rate is much higher than the death rate.
but no one really cares about infection rate (unless they are into fear-mongering like those on the left are) as it's the death rate that counts and in this regard, like I always say... why fear a virus that only has a small chance to kill you? ; this is why I say society is massively over-reacting to the virus as some treat it like it's some hardcore plague and it's not even close as it's actually closer to common flu level of deaths than it is some major plague like the Spanish Flu for example where some claim 50 million died (I heard some claim up to 100 million), so call it 10mil+ to be conservative and COVID-19 is not even slightly close to that figure as COVID-19 deaths worldwide are about 600k right now. it's laughable how easily people just fall inline and believe the lying media and obsess over face masks etc.
but this pretty much sums COVID-19 up in that it's more about politics than anything else...
