Never saw it. It got plugged and plugged before they released it where I was living at the time and disappeared quicker than you can say Ishtar. It held absolutely no appeal value whatsoever in the trailer. Hoffman and Beatty together just looked like too much mugging and smugness together and it looked plain stupid too. Elaine May sealed her fate as a director and they gave her a chance.
