Wasn't he attempting to write articles/jokes/blogs on 'The Onion'?
Somebody on the old IMDB outed him - i.e. dug up some 'Onion' blogs with his name attached to them.
I can't think of anyone less funny, embracing of sarcasm or generally attuned to the overall mood of the country in a way that would allow him to do that. But I've been wrong before.
yeah - somebody posted a link with his name attached to Onion articles.
not sure if it's still around floating out there.
it was odd - they weren't satirical pieces on everyday life - more like a Diary/personal blog
