I just watched BLOOD BEACH for the first time and yes, the film is an unapologetic clunker with many daft moments but Saxon is his usual, commanding presence........oozing personality. He single-handedly makes it all worthwhile and the film is a fun experience as a result.
That's what he brought to his roles and is probably why he was in demand throughout his entire career.
I haven't seen CANNIBAL APOCALYPSE but can imagine him lighting it up as usual. I heard he hated the movie himself!
