He did direct it though. And write it. When I've heard him talk about making the movie it seemed that he was making it but using the students as his crew. So he still is to blame if it's as bad as it looks.
Well frack... The comments made it out like he was in charge of getting Lunch or setting up lighting... I didn't listen to the Poscast he talked about the making of it.
I really enjoyed "Red State". Watching the trailer to this was jarring.
