Brace yourself for a shock... I haven't seen any of those. Though I've heard of a few, and may possibly get around to watching Pride one day, as it looks potentially enjoyable . I have only the vaguest notion of what an indie film is, but Ladybird might qualify, I guess. Which I enjoyed very much, though can't imagine rewatching. An independent film, independent movie, indie film, or indie movie is a feature film or short film that is produced outside the major film studio system, in addition to being produced and distributed by independent entertainment companies. Independent films are sometimes distinguishable by their content and style and the way in which the filmmakers' personal artistic vision is realized. Usually, but not always, independent films are made with considerably lower budgets than major studio films. Lady Bird is/was an Indie film. It is also one of the very few films to attain a 100% rating on ROTTEN TOMATOES
