My favourite film of the last decade is Ida, which is indeed (so I just read on Wiki) independently produced and distributed, on a budget of $2.6m, so that definitely does. I didn’t like Ida all that much, but MY favourite film of the last decade is probably Cold War, from the same Polish director. Have you seen that one? I think I recall you saying that before. I have seen Cold War, but only once, and I did enjoy it. I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it more on subsequent viewings, but as it stands I prefer Ida, which I think I've watched four times now. For a godless heathen, I quite enjoy the occasional religious film.
