At this point it doesn't really matter since the media mergers already reduced or destroyed all the film alternatives.
There are a lot less movies released to theaters now than 30-50 years ago.
Probably will see lots of theater owners selling to the studios. When it was announced Disney was denying Fox films for revival cinemas no one would speak on the record--they were afraid.
