The most famous moment in a Vice Presidential debate came in 1988 when Lloyd Bentson reminded Dan Quayle that Quayle wasn't JFK. It was a nasty shot at Quayle that was a huge deal when it happened........and of course, ended up meaning nothing as Bush/Quayle won the Presidency.
Now speaking of debates, your boy Biden is gonna debate Trump, right? All three times? I mean, Ol' Joe is a tough guy, yes? I'm sure a "fighter" like Joe ain't afraid of actual debates with Orange Man.
Cuz if he doesn't debate Trump? Ohhhh, that's a bad look.....
It's a new way of avoidance. Trump lies, so a debate would probably be irrelevant, so why have one? Or bother watching?
I would think that a strong candidate for the highest office in the land who be ready, willing, and able to take on a "liar" like Trump, and expose his lies to the American public while providing a better alternative. Time will tell if Biden is such a candidate.
And I can't help but wonder what your reaction would be if it was Trump's handlers suggesting that the debates shouldn't take place, much like Biden's friends in the media have already done.
