I think the joke wears out it's welcome around the middle of the film. I find it to be a frustrating movie, because the first half has some great dark humor. The second half goes on autopilot imo.
I think it is worth watching for the acting, the visual effects and the style. Bruce Willis is genuinely hilarious in the movie.
