If you get into it, it builds up in an interesting way with the characters, especially Stacy Keach. But I can understand why someone would not appreciate it, especially the first half.
But compared to modern movies, having one with interesting philosophical discussion seems kind of refreshing.
They shouldn't have used that song at the start though--because Rolling Thunder had used it.
