I thought it was pretty warm in season 2 until she realized that Jimmy was even more crooked than she thought.
Now in order to protect her reputation as a lawyer, something that is more important than the relationship for both of them, she has to remain guarded before she is exposed more and more to his dirty dealing. I think the love is still there, just not the compatibility.
