Nothing brings a show or non pornographic movie to a screeching halt faster than a sex scene. The worst are the moronic sex scenes where the woman keeps her bra on during sex. I do agree they seem more like friends than lovers although Kim doesn't seem like a demonstrative type anyway. They still exude more chemistry than Rick and Michonne on The Walking Dead and people love that couple.
Personally I don't watch any TV shows for the romantic side stories. I'm sure there are numerous shows that revolve around that but I doubt I will ever watch any of them.
