It's a strong sequel which feels at times like an adventure film as much as a horror. It's also my favourite horror movie of 1987. Controversially, however, I don't like it as much as Freddy's Revenge - which I personally find to be a much creepier film. The kills were extremely creative though and Robert Englund is a joy to watch.
