Every Halloween except for 3-5 and the 2018 film has an alternate cut that I've seen. The original has a TV cut that added scenes shot in 1981 to tie in the sister twist. II and H20 also have TV cuts, with a few differences like character fates (ie LL Cool J stays dead in the latter). Resurrection and the remake have workprints: the workprint of H:R slightly less shitty and the workprint of the remake far more shitty. The remake also has a Director's Cut, so there's actually three versions of that garbage. Then Zombie's Halloween 2 also has a Director's Cut, and I actually like that one a fair bit better than the theatrical as it's more psychological and explores the PTSD of the survivors, although it still suffers from general Rob Zombie issues. I had no idea. So basically just the Halloween franchsie? I think I have only seen the theatrical versions of most of them. I am curious to watch the DC of Halloween II now, because I find the theatrical version borderline unwatchable. I didn't list it because I didn't finish it. There are some unrated versions of certain Friday movies, but yeah. Nothing like the messy Halloween franchise. That's how I felt about the theatrical version of RZH2 as well. Then I had a friend who insisted I watch the DC. I didn't love it as much as him, but it was admirable and ambitious for what it was.
