I don't think she is only trying to protect her rep as a lawyer. Shes worked extra hard to exonerate Jimmy from what he did, as well as destroy Chucks rep. I mean its clear she cares for him, its just theres no chemistry there.

I agree except I think within that legal stuff, that's how we know the love is there. Like I said, I saw chemistry last year, but this is how good of a performance she's giving. She's exasperated while trying to remain professional and aloof.

however, she is wanting to make sure, to as great an extent as possible, that she is not implicated. The good thing is Jimmy is on the same page regarding that.

Sadly, despite e rooting for him, Jimmy is without a doubt destructive which I can only assume is a theme that continues even in Breaking Bad (I haven't watched it).

If she stays with him, she's doomed & I think she's knows it.
