Hondo...Entertaining tale of stranger coming to a ranch and falling in love with a woman and becoming a father figure to her kid. I did like how the Apache weren't just bloodthirsty threats and that Vitorio was at least portrayed as an honorable man, in his own way of course. This is the second straight movie where Wayne has a dog sidekick and the dog gets killed. I really hope that isn't a constant cuz i like his dogs more than i like any of the side characters and most of the main ones.
