He might be a complete jerk offscreen but I think Crowe has the most charisma/gravitas of the 4.
Can you picture Pitt, Bale, or Cruise in Gladiator or Master and Commander?
Pitt projects the most likable persona but he's more boy next door type--I can't see him being pathetic like in
Cinderella Man where Crowe is walking around asking for money from those rich guys.

I guess I would go with deleting Cruise.
