So far there have been just two mentions of Sands of Iwo Jima (no definite article) from 1949, Lebowskidoo 🎄😷🎄 and Marv. "Sands" was Duke's only Oscar nomination until True Grit (1969) for which he won Best Actor. Everyone should see, at the very least, his two Oscar recognized performances.
