Where did you pull the $15m price tag from for marketing as I didn't see it in the article or found it by searching, I would doubt they spent that much given how much other articles state how if it made $25m it would be a financial success, dunno you are right though if it spent $15m on marketing expecting it to be another Lady Bird or was it Lady Bug? whatever, then yeah theatrically it made no money, but likely has made money since atleast, as even at a $15m budget for a total $21m expense that's low enough that they could have made that back off of their first round of streaming licensing. 15m is a modest number for wide release, even if im off 10m would be the bare minimum www.google.com/amp/s/variety.com/2017/biz/news/hollywoods-soaring-marketing-cost-dilemma-1202530305/amp/
