Does anyone else here edit their movies?

I have a video editing app that I've been using for ~15 yrs and it allows me to split longer video files...eg a 2 hr movie into shorter segments that serve as chapters if I end up watching part of a movie and want to return to it without watching the entire thing over.  It also allows me to take out scenes I don't care to watch over and over again and to x out language I chose not to hear over and over again.  I generally watch movies to relax and fall asleep to.  So the particularly violent/loud/profane sections don't help with that.
