Age of Innocence
Joanne Woodward delivers Edith Wharton’s prose against Scorsese’s Gilded Age masterpiece. What I like is how this tracking scene introducing characters is the director’s signature he often uses in his hard boiled gangster movies. I even think some of the footman and servers in the background look typical Scorsese character thugs.
