Disney casts Kelly Marie Tran in lead role for new film.

She'll play the title character in their upcoming animated film Raya and the Last Dragon. Awkwafina will star alongside Tran as Sisu, a dragon in human form who needs Raya's help to reclaim her power and become her true dragon self. The movie will take stylistic influence from Southeast Asian mythology.
