I recently created a poll on Film General in which I listed my top 16 movies of 1988. I included The Accidental Tourist. Voters could pick up to 4 movies. There ended up being a total of 128 votes by 38 voters. Guess how many votes The Accidental Tourist received? ...Zero. Well, I had to do something about that, so now I think it at least has one vote, which I guess did little to boost it upwards, but such a fine film do not deserve a zero. My votes went to this films, with (from best 1st to well, good 4th) 01. The Accidental Tourist 02. Midnight Run 03. A Fish Called Wanda 04. The Naken Gun Excellent choices. |
