Okay, maybe it's more on the side of bad but if the bad guys always won there would be absolute chaos everywhere and nobody except the bad guys would be happy. Anytime a serial killer is caught is an example of the good guys winning. If the bad guys always won, there would be no good people left in the world.

And I thought I was a pessimist.
