Funny coming from Hamilton, he was shitting on Gasly last season when he drove for RBR.
Anyway, Gasly won, its great, but, lets be real, if it wasnt for the safetycar/red flag and HAM 10 sec stop and go penalty, he wouldnt be in the position to go for the win. So lets not treat him like he is the second coming of Prost. Also, the RBR car is almost undrivable, we saw Gasly fail in a much better car. He seemed to cave under the pressure and he couldnt even overtake much slower cars. All that changed when he was put back at TR. Not everyone has it in him to drive for a top team. But hey, maybe his second stint at TR/AT is what he needed to get ready for RBR and he is ready.
Still, Albon needs to go, but I dont know if Gasly is the solution.
I think i read that Jenson Button likened what Max is doing in the Red Bull to Senna. If that is the case and Red Bull decide to part ways with Alex then who should they put in the car? Where are they going to get another Max? Rumour is they know this and will stick with Alex for now. They dont need another Max, they need their own version of Bottas. A driver that is good enough to stay close-ish to your main driver but not good enough to drive in his way. Lets just hope they build a more stable car for next season. I like both Albon and Gasly, but both have been very disappointing in RBR. But Albon at least showed he has the balls to go for the overtakes, thats his plus.
