What i was getting at is maybe the car is so tricky to drive that not even a Bottas could be close enough to Max to be of any help but i suppose that's not something we'll probably ever know but i get what you mean and agree with you. I think you are right, even Max says the car is terrible to drive. The factory Honda team in MotoGP are in a similar position with Marc Marquez the only one who is competitive with various other riders trying and failing to get to grips with the bike over the last few years. Jorge Lorenzo destroyed himself on it! With Marc currently injured Honda are no where, although Nakagami seems to be making progress now that he has help from Marc's team in his absence. Honda have signed Pol Espagaro for next season who has been doing wonders with the KTM he's been riding the last few seasons which supposedly has been an absolute pig to ride up to this year so that's a good logical signing from Honda.
