It's a shame that you guys don't remember Death163 from the old board. That guy did what movieliker does but 10x more effectively. Circular logic, answering your question by not answering you at all, ignoring literally every fact under the sun and relying on red herrings and false equivalencies at every chance. Really effective troll....or the single dumbest person on the planet. I like to think it was the former but I suppose anything is possible. There was one thread in particular about how QBs were the most important person on any given football team and he'd inevitably settle on "you think Christian Ponder is more important than Adrian Peterson, OK" type of reasoning. It went on for weeks. Also, Alex Smith was automatically an awesome QB because he was a #1 pick. Being a #1 pick bestowed upon you certain abilities that couldn't be topped, therefore Alex Smith is better than Tom Brady. The guy was great. I wished he had posted more often but that would have diluted his shtick in all likelihood. The name rings a bell but just a high-quality troll, I believe? Our guy ml actually seems to believe what he's saying. Remember the "the Patriots benefit from an easy division" debacle? Rey would present him with facts and stats that proved it wasn't true yet ml's response every time was "you still don't get it, Rey. The Patriots benefit every year from a weak division. And they are benefitting this year from an easy schedule." Sometimes he'll put his points in bold as if it would make you read it and understand it more. I circled those wagons with him as well. You could show Brady's record against every other division, and how he has a better winning percentage against 2 divisive, about equal against 2, and a won 60% of the time against the last division. His last argument was that, because Bradys division was so easy, it allowed Brady to win those games in cruise control, which allowed him to really really try only a few times a year. That's why he could win 71% of his games against teams not in his division. Because he was so mentally rested and knew he didn't have to beat those other teams.
