It's funny there are plenty of girls named Morgan and Madison but there are no boys named Jennifer or Suzy. The unisex of names only works in one direction - females co-opt male names. Parents would never name their boy a traditional girl's name.
Why is that? It's just another indicator of what we all know is true, there are only two genders and they are fixed at birth and are different from each other. Was watching a program on HGTV where one of the daughter's was named Bronte. I thought, "Is the other one Austin?" "Austen", Pinky. It took me a while to remember her. Of course I know Emily Bronte. I was required to read "Wuthering Heights" in my high school English class. But it is a great book. I loved it and the teacher, (her name was Mrs. Thompson), was heavy on the symbolism.
