I'd take the Big Hurt over anyone. Even over a Griffey Jr, ala someone who not only played the field everyday, but with elite fielding? Yes, I do not like Griffey as a person - he held the Mariners hostage, telling them he would only go to the Reds so then the REds knew they could give teh Ms whatever they want and they had no choice. I thought it was one of the douchiest moves ever. I like Griffey as a player for sure, but I like Thomas as a player and person. And his OBP is superb.
