We have all experienced ignorant people talking loudly in the cinema
Thankfully i have been lucky in this regard but i suspect a lot of it is because i have not been to the theaters all that much in this modern area where all of these kids nowadays have no respect for others. might as well say the smart phone era(roughly a decade now, maybe a bit more), or not much before this.
hell, just in the current decade i have only been to the theaters three times (once in late 2010, twice in 2011) and the movies i saw are not the type to attract large crowds (True Grit (2010)/Drive (2011)/In Time (2011)). even in the 2000's my times to the theaters was limited. ill be 38 years old later this year so basically i go back to the 1990's before modern technology took over as that was more around 1998-2000 when computers/cell phones etc started to become more mainstream but i suspect it was still a fair amount past that before you started seeing a fair amount of people online with stories of those acting up which is why i kinda estimate it to be somewhere in the ball park of the mid-2000's with the no respect for anyone generation kicked in, pretty much. but with that said... i imagine just about every generation probably has someone acting up occasionally but i would imagine that's generally gotten worse with this current generation or so.
also, i suspect the kind of movie you go and see can raise or lower your chances of someone acting up as i suspect the really mainstream movies, like Super Hero movies (or basically any high $$$ type of movie) for example, tend to attract the kids and raises the chances of them acting up as there almost always seems to be some jag off amongst them somewhere who thinks they are cool by acting up etc etc. sure, i understand there is going to be a little noise here and there and that's fine but after a certain point the person is just plain out of line. or put it this way... if i was in a theater and i started getting upset with someone chances are quite a few others would be upset along with myself at that point as i would not be quick to go off on someone as you got to leave a little room in there but after a while it's just out of line and they either need to be quiet or leave.

I hope this is a satirical post
i am sure it's not true as throwing someone off the balcony/falling 20feet/going to hospital are red flags that the post is not a true story. plus, i am sure it would get someone in a lot of trouble regardless if the person had it coming or not.
for the record... but if someone was acting up and someone else went off on the person acting up it would be a reflex to cheer on the person getting physical with the person who acted up as it's not hard to act half way decently in a theater but for some people it's almost impossible it seems but these people i am confident have little to no respect for people in general and were not taught that stuff when they where younger by parents who are too lax and never disciplined their child. but what i don't get... is if someone is going to act up in a theater WHY would they even bother going to the theaters in the first place.
