OT : What are you listening to right now?

ALL THINGS MUST PASS is one of the greatest albums ever made. Still a fave of mine, but...

Imagine how much better the album would have been without all the overblown Phil Spector production. George didn't like it, and he was right. OK, the Spector wall of sound works fantastically well on "Awaiting On You All," but kind of ruins all the other songs Spector applied it to. "Apple Scruffs" does not have the chorus of angels wall of sound grandiosity and it is probably the best tune on the album. The rest of the album should have been able to breathe.
