Was that comment directed at me because I posted about the fires in California?

I live on the east coast, and some of us here have our own battles to deal with and aren't always following along with what's happening in the west coast. It was simply a comment to induce a conversation, so there was no need to get all snippy about me reminding you of your own weather patterns as if to assume everyone on the board lives in California.
