No but I can see how political interests have warped artistic endeavors over time.
If this was some kind of normal biological phenomenon among populations then no one could read or watch media from decades ago because it would be impossible to relate to it, yet people still read Shakespeare, watch old serials.
The reputation of The Adventures of Captain Marvel has grown over time, and there's no wokeness in it (except maybe the theme of two societies being manipulated by an invisible enemy that plays both sides against the other--a timeless theme).
