Goldblatt's originated in Chicago, but I do not recall a dining area. Every state is different. Goldblatt's usually had their counters in the basement, not a real "dining" area, just counter dining - mostly hot dogs & sausages on a bun. That's were they sold some groceries, had their cookie counters, the best bagels I ever had, a deli.
