I specifically said I hoped it WOULD NOT be bad. I still hope it can be salvaged. It's telling that several of you obviously feel like my comments were spot on about you personally yet you're angry at me. How crazy of me to want a series that is at least semi coherent, right? It's so much better to follow the example of the giddy fanboys lower my expectations and standards and just lick Lynch's asshole clean because he rewarded us with yet 2 more hours (so far) of static and goofy images that not even he could explain into a sane storyline. "Oh wow man more weird rooms that mean nothing." "Gosh he's Bob or whatever." "Oh my gawd was that a dwarf or ugggggh I just nutted."
I enjoyed re-watching the original over the last few days and the tagline for this new season had me thinking Lynch was actually putting some thought into this but NOTHING so far would make a honest person think that at all. I'm not mad because several of you have low standards so why cry because mine aren't?
It seems like there are people here eager to prove everything I said in my earlier posts 100% correct. Like I said I'm seldom wrong. I'll watch a few more episodes and hopefully it will get better. I would say it can't get any worse than the mishmash of rehashed images we were handed tonight but one thing Lynch has proven over the last few years is he can always lower the bar. You fanboys are part of the reason Lynch gets away with it.
