13 Sitcoms That Changed Sets or Main Locations:
01. THE FACTS OF LIFE - Season 1 was set at an Eastland School dormitory. Then the main set became the cafeteria of the school and the main girls lived in rooms in that building. When they graduated they went to live with Mrs. Garrett above Edna's Edibles.
02. THE GOOD GUYS (1968) - Originally set in a diner in the city. In season 2, they moved the diner to a beachfront location. The diner was the same inside, but all the exterior sets changed and they went from having a studio audience to having a laugh track.

It's About Time (1966-67) - Originally set in prehistorical times with astronauts McKenzie and Canfield trying to adjust to living in prehistoric times, the show was retooled to bring the astronauts back to the present along with some prehistoric friends who try to adjust to living in modern times.
