Saturday MLB Playoffs ⚾️

Imagine being the guy who figured his team was going to breeze through the playoffs on the backs of their league-best rotation and clutch hitting from the likes of Ramirez, Lindor, Reyes, and Hernandez. The Indians by all means should've been heading to the World Series. But nope... playoff baseball had to happen. Bieber, Carrasco, Hand, and Karinchak suddenly forgot where the strike zone was and they got swept.

Your team had no reason to go as far as it did. Cole left in free agency, Verlander got hurt, and you guys were finished with a sub-.500 record. You really have no reason to think they'll suddenly be out of contention next season. They could still attract free agents and should be able to re-sign Springer. They might be a Wild Card team again, but at least they'll be in the playoffs.


This was most definitely the Indians last shot to win anything with this roster. Lindor will be traded this offseason for prospects. Ramirez will be traded in a year or two for prospects. Bieber will be traded not long after that... for prospects. The Indians won't likely be posting a losing season any time for a while, but since the White Sox have finally ascended, the Twins look like they'll be contenders for a while, and I can't imagine the Tigers or Royals will be at the bottom of the division for much longer, the Indians aren't going to be doing shit for a while.
