When they asked every Dodger about seeing Blake Snell pulled they couldn't help but grin. 5 1/3 innings, 73 pitches, 48 for strikes, 2 singles allowed (3rd and 6th innings), no runs allowed until Anderson gave up a double and wild-pitched Barnes in. Not to overthink it, but there has to be an uplifting psychological effect there. Snell is a proven ace and he's on his A-game. As a batter, you know when a guy is on and how tough it will be to break through. Then, just like that, your opposition hands you a gift. Short of the Rays putting in Henry Rowengartner, I'm licking my chops if I'm on the Dodgers at that point. I wish the Phillies had Henry Rowengartner.
