One of the great cult films of the 1980s. A film that seemed outrageous at the time, but turned out to be prophetic. Slick visceral entertainment, with Van Patten dominating the proceedings as the unhinged villain. Yeah, that's the scary part. Back then it was ridiculed by the critics, now this stuff and real life Stegman's seems to be happening every week. The "sequel" is not bad either, but much more of goofy plot added with robot teachers and all, but still worth a watch for the entertaining value alone.
