Just found out that my cousin is in the hospital with Covid and a blood clot in his lungs. I love the guy, but he is a dumbass - he started feeling pain last Thursday, spent the whole weekend in severe pain, but refused to go to a hospital. Yesterday he finally relented and went, and was diagnosed. His wife doesn't have any symptoms, but is probably contaminated as well - in fact she may very well be the one who gave it to him, as she goes out much more than he does. He is the first one I know personally who contracted Covid-19. My cousin is out of the hospital, even though he still has a fever. He spent about ten days in the hospital, but he never had to go to the ICU. His wife tested negative, but now that he is back home she will have to be very careful (and lucky) not to get infected.
