Holy crap Sarandon looks gorgeous. She looks almost the same now as when she was in Rocky Horror. Whoever has done her work has done a brilliant job. She's stunning.
I wasn't aware she was approached to play Bette Davis before, ever, at all. I just can't see it. I feel like I've watched enough Davis movies, seen interviews, read books, that I feel like I have a bead on her, and without actually seeing all of this, I still can't seem to see this as not being a very good fit.
Lange looks drop-dead as Joan Crawford. Playing people who are so iconic, you're going to be under heavy scrutiny. This will be interesting.
