Anti-depressants are more for stabilizing mood, but they can help for general anxiety as well. I take those as well. Sometimes it takes a long time to find the right medication and that is a pain in the ass.

Thank you for answering. How many mgs? Did you try anything else prior to landing on lorazepam? I took alprazolam for a while as a sleep aid because I had sleep medication amnesia with Ambien. I was on .25 mg, and took half a pill!

It helped, though.

I actually don't know the mgs off hand.

I use to take Buspirone and Xanax.
