Watched it for the first time earlier this year. It's not a good film. Neither is it skillfully made nor does it have enough "so bad, it's good" moments to be memorable.
However, I would like to point out that Girdler's next two films, Day of the Animals and The Manitou, both were a lot of fun for me. The Manitou is completely stupid but it's so gloriously and defiantly stupid that it cannot help being a fun watch, especially if you are hammered. And I thought that Day of the Animals was legitimately a chilling, scary film. A number of good performances, lots of effective animal footage and even a few emotionally harrowing moments towards the end. Heartily recommended for fans of "When Animals Attack" subgenre.
